I tried sculpting one of these a while ago from Sculpey. While the resulting figurine was nice, it was way too complicated and big. So this time i tried again and bought some Super Sculpey, and yes, it was much easier to work with. So the result is a simpler figurine with only four separate parts.
While the surface looks
like crap unfinished, it's actually sanded silky smooth. It only looks like that because of the different mixes of Sculpey I used. I'm planning on making a mold out of this so I can reproduce them as resin figurines. I really hope I get the whole thing done, 'cause it's already been really expensive to make this even to this stage.
